Welcome! I'm a sedimentologist/geomorphologist interested in fluvial landscape processes across spatial and temporal scales. I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology & Environmental Geosciences at Bucknell University. My research focuses on tying alluvial deposit geometry and sedimentology to river processes and geohazards in both modern landscapes and the stratigraphic record.
To answer my primary research questions, I use field techniques, airborne and terrestiral LIDAR datasets, particle size analysis, and mathematical models. I'm also very interested in science communication and outreach, and I love teaching undergraduate geoscience! Check out my website for a broad overview and my twitter for more frequent updates, or feel free to contact me directly to learn more. |
